What makes The Nokta The Legend 2 so special?
The Nokta The Legend 2 sets a new standard in multi-frequency detection, thanks to significantly faster software, 99 target IDs, improved audio, and a redesigned user interface. With its new Relic mode, lighter and more ergonomic design, rotating search coil, and up to 33% longer battery life, it is built for maximum performance and comfort. It is fully waterproof to a depth of 5 meters and compatible with low-latency Bluetooth and bone conduction headphones. Whether you’re searching for coins, jewelry, relics, or small gold nuggets, The Legend 2 delivers uncompromising performance, precision, and reliability.
How is the Nokta Legend 2 designed, and what makes its construction so sturdy and comfortable?
The Nokta Legend 2 is designed for stability, comfort, and durability. The detector features an adjustable carbon fiber shaft that extends from a compact 63 cm to 145 cm. The adjustable armrest can also be moved into the right position with a single click. This makes it compact to transport while also suitable for users of any height.
Weighing just 1.2 kg, the Legend 2 feels light and comfortable in the hand, even during long detecting sessions. Its carbon fiber construction provides an excellent balance of weight and strength, allowing the detector to swing smoothly and steadily.
In addition, both the control unit and search coil are fully waterproof (IP68) to a depth of 5 meters, so the Legend 2 can be used with ease at the beach, in the rain, in wet soil, and even underwater.
The Legend 2 exudes premium quality—not only through its detailed appearance, but also through its solid yet refined feel in the hand.
Where can you search with The Legend 2?
The Legend 2 is designed to excel in a wide range of environments. Thanks to advanced simultaneous multifrequency (SMF), a choice of individual frequencies (4, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz), waterproofing (IP68) to 5 meters, and the included search coils, you can search effectively in parks, fields, forests, on beaches, in rivers, at historic sites, in and underwater, and even in highly mineralized goldfields. The time of day is no obstacle either: thanks to the display, button and coil lighting, you can keep searching even at dusk and late into the night. Whether you're searching for coins, jewelry, relics or small gold nuggets, The Legend 2 delivers uncompromising performance, accuracy and reliability.

FAQ
Does the LEGEND 2 have multi-frequency – and when is single-frequency worthwhile?
Yes. You can use multi-frequency (multiple frequencies simultaneously) or switch to single-frequency (4, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz). Multi is the all-round mode for many situations, while single can offer advantages depending on the target and environment (e.g., quieter in case of interference or more targeted for specific types of objects).
How do I make the detector quieter when it's "disturbing" or running erratically?
Start by using Frequency Shift / Noise Cancellation to reduce interference. If the device continues to behave erratically, slightly lower the Sensitivity or, in difficult ground conditions, use Ground Balance (automatic or manual). This will make the detector more stable without unnecessarily losing performance. If the device continues to operate erratically, you can switch from multi-frequency operation to single-frequency operation to make the Legend 2 significantly quieter.
What search modes does the LEGEND 2 have?
The LEGEND 2 offers five search modes:
Park (for modern sites with lots of metallic trash),
Field (for arable land and meadows),
Beach (for dry and wet sand as well as saltwater),
Relic (for historically contaminated soils and deep objects), and
Gold (for searching for very small, weakly conductive metal objects such as gold nuggets and small Roman coins).
