The XP Deus 2 Bone Conduction Headphones leave your ears free. The headphones generate sounds with encapsulated transducers placed just in front of the earlobes, where the temporal bone meets the cheekbone. The headphones have surprisingly good sound and allow the user to fully perceive ambient noise without obstructive earcups covering the ears.
The XP Deus 2 bone conduction headphones are also waterproof and can be used on land and while snorkeling/diving. When using ordinary waterproof headphones underwater, the ear fills with water, and the ear's perception of sound is often reduced. Because the BH-01 sits in front of the ears on the cheekbone, sound is transmitted directly to the inner ear through vibrations applied to the bones, without stressing the eardrum. Your ears remain free!
These innovative headphones also allow hearing-impaired individuals to feel the vibrations produced by the targets, depending on the nature of their hearing system impairment. Adjusting the Deus 2 audio frequencies downwards (100 to 300Hz) could further improve perception depending on the impairment.
