The XP HF2 coil is one of the best options for searching for the smallest objects, such as gold nuggets, fine jewelry (e.g., bracelets or chains), and small coins such as Roman finds in the upper layers of the soil.
This high-frequency search coil operates in multi-frequency mode with 21 search frequencies between 9 and 90 kHz simultaneously. This makes the HF2 suitable for all search environments, while its strengths—also due to its smaller size—are particularly evident in parks, playgrounds, and (saltwater) beaches. This coil offers exceptional sensitivity to small objects in particular.
It was developed around three main frequencies that are quickly accessible, and additionally offers the advantage of seven wide frequency shifts integrated for each of these frequencies. In single-frequency mode, frequencies of up to 120 kHz can even be used.
Thanks to its high-frequency sensitivity, it is particularly effective for small and weakly conductive targets. This makes it ideal for highly mineralized ground or areas that have already been searched extensively, where standard coils often perform less effectively.
