Beginner Detector
The F11's menu is intuitive and provides a lot of information, so even inexperienced detectorists can quickly find their way around. A special feature of the Fisher metal detector is the depth indicator, which shows how deep the target object is. With 9-level discrimination settings and a built-in pinpoint function, the F11 is well-positioned in terms of user-friendliness. With just one 9V battery, the metal detector lasts approximately 25 hours, and with a weight of only 1.1 kg, even longer searching trips are no problem.
Notching and 4 Tones
The so-called notch feature allows for individualized searching. Not only can iron signals (usually uninteresting) be discriminated, meaning ignored by the detector, but also any of the other 9 conductivity ranges. This way, other non-ferrous metals can also be discriminated without filtering out all conductivity values up to the desired value. With four different tones, depending on the conductivity value, the user can make an initial classification regarding the type of metal based on the audio signal alone.
