The Nokta Midi Hoard is the first fully waterproof children's detector on the market and is suitable for children aged 8 to 12. The Midi Hoard has a clear detection tone and a Pinpoint function. It offers precise iron detection and weighs only 880 g. Compared to the Mini Hoard, the Midi Hoard is slightly larger and offers better search performance and additional settings.

The Midi Hoard is a durable detector and is waterproof up to 1 m underwater. This means your little adventurer can safely search the beach and shoreline. The Mini Hoard has an armrest for more comfort when sweeping the detector from side to side, a stand that keeps the Mini Hoard stable when set aside, a telescopic shaft that can be adjusted to a length of 82 to 109 cm, and an 18 cm / 7" search coil with coil cover. At 15 kHz, the search coil offers an ideal search depth for children aged 8 to 12.
Easy to use
The Midi Hoard is very easy to operate using 3 buttons. The right button is used to switch the detector on and off and to turn iron discrimination on and off. The middle button is the Pinpoint function, which determines exactly where the object is located. The clear display uses symbols to show what kind of object may be underground. For example, the left block indicates whether there is a nail, screw, or horseshoe (iron objects); the middle block indicates whether there is a coin, ring, pull tab, or aluminum foil; and the right block indicates whether there is a coin, beer bottle cap, or pull tab. You can also read the object's depth in 3 segments, and the battery indicator shows whether the 2 AA batteries are full or half full, or need replacing. The Midi Hoard's volume can be adjusted to 2 levels, and its sensitivity/search depth to 3 levels.
