The Garrett AT GOLD metal detector can be used on any terrain (AT = All Terrain) and, due to its high operating frequency, is particularly suitable for gold prospecting (natural gold such as nuggets) or for searching for small coins and pieces of jewelry. The AT Gold allows for greater depth penetration and better sensitivity to gold/natural gold, e.g., nuggets/jewelry, coins, artifacts, and for general searching.

Thanks to its 2 discrimination modes for metal exclusion, the Garrett AT GOLD is an excellent detector for searching for coins, gold, and artifacts – the high frequency and the very good 40-level iron discrimination with switchable iron tone prove their worth here. The digital conductivity display from 0-99 – in addition to the block display of the metal type – in conjunction with the analog and proportional sound output upon discovery, helps to determine the type of metal, and often also the object lying in the ground, more precisely before digging.

A 5 x 8" (13 x 20 cm) DD coil is supplied as standard. This smaller coil, in conjunction with the high 18 kHz operating frequency, is ideal for the smallest precious metal objects and coins. Gold panners and prospectors will also find the AT GOLD to be the ideal detector. Due to the narrow depth penetration of the DD design, rapid detection of closely spaced objects with different conductivity values is much better possible. Of course, it is waterproof potted, like all Garrett search coils.
