Conductivity, Discrimination, Pinpoint Function, and Ground Balance
The Quest Q60 provides all the functions of a good metal detector. With discrimination, 50 conductivity segments can be discriminated, i.e., filtered out, to exclude objects of a certain conductivity spectrum during the search. The pinpoint function can locate finds to within a centimeter to avoid lengthy digging. Ground balancing can be performed automatically and manually to account for the natural mineralization of the soil during searching and to avoid interference signals.
