The abbreviation "nvmh" stands for "Nederlandse vereniging van munthandelaren" (Dutch Association of Coin Dealers). This association of Dutch coin dealers publishes a Dutch "Jaeger" annually, which begins with the mintages of the Batavian Republic (1795–1806) and includes all Dutch coins minted since then up to the Euro era (circulating and commemorative coins, as well as proof sets) by year, with mintage figures, images, precise descriptions, and—not insignificantly for dealers and collectors—evaluations in up to four grades for each year.
However, the catalog is not limited to Dutch coins but also extends to the coins of Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles, Aruba, Dutch West Indies, Suriname, and Dutch East Indies. The coins from these areas are also correctly described (with illustrations) and valued by year. But that's not all: the content of the "almanac" also includes Dutch banknotes from 1814 onwards (all color-illustrated in reduced size), for which prices are available in three preservation grades.
This remarkable catalog concludes with the Euro circulation coins of all countries (including proof sets), which are also priced by year.
