Why choose the Impact metal detector?
The Nokta Impact is a professional multi-frequency metal detector with three different search frequencies (5kHz, 14kHz, and 20kHz). This makes the Impact a versatile detector suitable for almost all search targets and conditions. Whether you are a coin hunter or a militaria seeker, or if you want to track down gold nuggets in Africa, the Impact can do it all! Simply switch to the best search frequency for your target, and the Impact will be the ideal detector for you. With the Impact, you practically buy several detectors in one! Ideal for those with multiple search goals, who are active, for example, as both field searchers (looking for coins and small antiques) and beach searchers, militaria searchers, and gold seekers. Or for someone who likes to take their detector to distant vacation spots by the sea, into the mountains, or into extremely mineralized soils in addition to regular use. Are you such a multi-detectorist? Then the Impact is the perfect detector for you!
Why is the Impact metal detector nicknamed "Depth Monster"?
The Impact is characterized by its extreme depth range. Not only is its depth range for large objects exceptional, but you also achieve a very large depth range with the Impact for small objects. The Impact receives signals from (very) small objects significantly deeper than any competing model in its price range. The Nokta Impact can therefore rightly be called a true depth monster. Tests show that this metal detector is one of the best detectors for beach searchers and wet salty soils by the sea! Even here, the Impact maintains a large depth range.
How many search modes does the Impact have?
The Nokta Impact has a total of 12 search modes:
2 x All Metal
2 x Non-Motion
8 x Discrimination
How robust is the Impact's construction?
Like the Makro Racer 2 detector, the Impact offers a sleek, modern, and balanced design with a weight of 1.8 kg. In addition to vibration as a detection signal, the display, and search coil illumination, the Impact offers the option of connecting the optionally available 2.4 GHz wireless Green Edition headphones.
Can you identify buried metal with the Impact metal detector?
The Nokta Impact is a digital metal detector equipped with a numerical object identification display. As soon as you discover an object, a number appears in the middle of your display. Based on this number, you can learn what type of metal or object it is. For example, the number 0-30 mostly represents iron, or the number 76 represents a euro coin, and the numbers 50-70 represent gold, among other things. The numerical object identification of the Nokta Impact is very accurate and ranges from 0 to 99.
Is it possible to discriminate against unwanted types of metal with the Impact?
You can easily exclude unwanted objects from your search process. This object discrimination also works based on the numbers on the object identification. For example, you can set it so that objects with an object identification of number 30 or lower (small iron) are not detected. Your Impact will then no longer give a signal as soon as it detects these unwanted objects. The notch function allows for very precise discrimination. You can now even discriminate specific ID numbers, such as No. 25 and 27, instead of a whole range (0-30). This helps to find more objects and less trash.
Does the Impact have a pinpoint function?
The Impact detector has a built-in pinpoint function, which allows you to determine the exact position of an object in the ground. This means you have to dig less and can excavate the object faster. The metal detector also has a depth indicator, which allows you to accurately read the depth of an object in the ground in centimeters or inches. You can set whether you want to read the depth in cm or inches.
Can the Impact identify closely spaced objects separately?
The Nokta Impact is characterized by its fast reaction and recovery speed. This can be very important if several objects are close together and you don't want to miss an object. Many metal detectors display closely spaced objects (within a few centimeters) as one object, which means you don't notice that there are several objects, and you may miss objects. With the Nokta Impact, you won't miss a single object, thanks to the super-fast reaction and recovery time.
Does the Impact also have display illumination?
The Nokta Impact metal detector has a built-in search coil illumination that you can turn on when searching in the dark. This is ideal for searching in dark places and in the evening hours. The Impact also has display illumination.
How can ground balancing be performed with the Impact metal detector?
In addition to automatic and manual ground balance, the Nokta Impact metal detector also features "Groundtracking." Groundtracking means that the metal detector automatically adjusts as soon as you encounter a different type of soil. The Groundtrack continuously scans the ground and constantly adjusts itself. This function continuously sets your metal detector to the ideal ground balance. Groundtracking is different from an automatic ground balance. The latter means that you can give the detector the command at a certain point to perform the ground balance automatically. However, during the search process, it does not continuously adapt to changing ground conditions. If you use Groundtrack, this also has a positive effect on your depth range, which remains continuously at a high level.
How long do the batteries last with the Impact?
The Impact's battery life is 25 to 30 hours with only 4 AA alkaline batteries (included). You can also use rechargeable batteries in the metal detector.
