MAX stands for maximum performance and maximum search fun, as this device is the first in this series to be equipped with wireless headphones. The Garrett AT MAX is as easy to use as the Garrett AT Pro, but offers significantly more features. Thus, one could actually say that the AT MAX is the adult AT Pro.
The Garrett AT MAX is particularly suitable for searching for coins, jewelry, and relics, as well as for water searching.
The AT Max is an all-terrain detector - whether forest, meadow, beach or even in water, this detector performs at its maximum everywhere. Like its smaller sibling, the AT MAX is waterproof up to 3 meters, allowing it to search the shallow water zone of a swimming lake.
Z-Lynk™ Wireless Technology
Z-Lynk Wireless Technology offers sound transmission with almost no delay (maximum delay of 17 ms). This makes this technology 6 times faster than Bluetooth headphones and 4 times faster than other wireless headphones. No cables and no interference with other wireless headphones.

MAXimum Depth Performance

True All-Metal Mode
The true all-metal mode actually displays all metals. This mode offers the greatest possible performance, both in depth and for small objects.
Backlight
Even at dusk or in bad weather, the AT MAX has a simple but important advantage compared to other detectors: its display can be illuminated. This allows you to pursue your hobby even in the dark.
Improved Frequency

The AT MAX has 4 different search modes. The True All-Metal search mode displays all metals without discrimination. Individual conductivity ranges can be hidden in all search modes. In the user search mode, this discrimination pattern is saved so that it is immediately available the next time you start your AT MAX. In coin mode, the settings are pre-saved to make it easier to find coins. The Zero mode has no discrimination option. This mode is popular with militaria seekers who want to find all metals.
15 x 28 cm DD Viper Search Coil
The Viper search coil, with its moderate size, allows searching in smaller, hard-to-reach areas, but is large enough for effective searching in fields and on sandy beaches. Searching in streams and other wet areas is also no problem, as the Viper search coil is completely waterproof.
