Multi-Flex Multi-Frequency Technology
Garrett's new Multi-Flex multi-frequency technology allows the user to use multiple search frequencies simultaneously. However, you can also work with a selectable search frequency, choosing between 5, 10, 15, or 20 kHz. Low search frequencies have the advantage of searching deeper and are particularly good for finding larger, deeply buried objects. High search frequencies have less depth but are very accurate in detecting the smallest objects in the upper layers. Choose the search frequency that best suits your search goals, or select the Multi-Flex multi-frequency technology, where you search on all search frequencies from 5 to 20 kHz simultaneously! The Apex then combines the advantages of all search frequencies, so you will search at maximum depth and be sensitive to small parts simultaneously!
Multi-Flex Salt
The Apex is a very good beach detector and even offers a special Multi-Flex Salt search frequency for searching on wet saltwater beaches and highly mineralized soils. In this mode, the Apex also operates according to the new Multi-Flex multi-frequency technology. Where most metal detectors experience a lot of noise, interference, and disturbances under these conditions, the Apex remains quiet, stable, and maintains its strong depth!

Apex has eight different frequencies and channels for each single frequency and multi-frequency. That's 48 different frequency settings. This gives the Apex the ability to work alongside other detectors, for example, at large rallies, and to minimize electrical interference.
High-Resolution Ground Balance
With the Apex, you can search in all ground conditions, be it fields, beaches, or highly mineralized soils; this is not a problem for the Apex. With its 175 resolution points for ground balancing (like the Garrett AT Max), it can work on all soil types from ferrous soils to saltwater.

Object Identification
The conductivity values of the objects are displayed extra large on the screen. Five different tones ensure even better object identification. You can already narrow down what type of metal the object might be based on the different tones.
Recovery Speed
The fast recovery speed of the Apex allows for better object identification of closely spaced objects. You will clearly hear that there are multiple objects, so you will not skip any object!
Iron Volume (Volume of Iron Objects)
Allows the user to reduce the volume of iron objects while keeping the volume of non-iron objects at a normal level. With eight iron volume settings, the Apex offers more flexibility than other detectors in its price range.
15 x 28 cm DD Viper Search Coil
With its moderate size, the Viper search coil allows searching in smaller, hard-to-reach areas, but is large enough for effective searching in fields and on sandy beaches. Searching in streams and other wet areas is also no problem, as the Viper search coil is completely waterproof.
