The Garrett Ace series is the world's best-selling series of metal detectors. This Ace 200i metal detector is famous for its easy operation and has very good depth performance (approx. 25 cm for an object the size of a coin, up to 80 cm for very large objects).
Lightweight with easy operation
The Garrett 200i is very easy to use and has a very low weight (only 1.2 kg). This means you won't get tired arms as quickly when searching. The device is equipped with very good search performance and high sensitivity, even for the smallest objects.
Numeric Object Identification (1-99)
The Ace 200i metal detector features both segment identification and numeric object identification (1-99). As soon as the metal detector detects an object, a sound is heard and a number appears in the middle of the display. This "conductivity value" allows conclusions to be drawn about the type of metal. (For example, number 76 Euro coin, number 20 iron). This way you can learn the conductivity values to identify metal objects before digging. To make it even easier, a block appears simultaneously below the segment bar at the top of the display. This tells you the type of metal, or what the object could be (e.g. iron). In addition, the Ace 200i has 3 different audio tones. A low tone for iron, a medium tone for gold and other items, and a high tone for silver.
Adjustable Sensitivity and Discrimination
You can adjust the sensitivity yourself, which allows you to achieve greater depth performance. Discrimination is also adjustable. With discrimination, you can easily exclude unwanted objects.
Waterproof Search Coil
The Ace 200i has a waterproof search coil; only the display is not waterproof. So you can use the detector in shallow water as long as the display does not get wet. Even in a rain shower, you should protect the display with electronic protection.
Reaction Speed
This metal detector is characterized above all by its depth range and its fast reaction speed. The latter is particularly important when several objects are lying directly next to each other.
