Lightweight and easy to operate
The Garrett 150 is very easy to operate and has a very low weight (only 1.2 kg). This means your arms do not tire as quickly while searching. The device offers excellent search performance and high sensitivity, even for the smallest objects.
Target identification
The Ace 150 metal detector features target identification across multiple segments. As soon as the metal detector detects an object, you hear a tone and a block simultaneously appears below the segment bar at the top of the display. This tells you the type of metal, or what metal it might be made of (e.g. iron). In addition, the Ace 150 has 3 different audio tones. A low tone indicates iron, a medium tone is used for gold and other objects, and a high tone indicates silver or other highly conductive metals.
Adjustable sensitivity and discrimination
You can adjust the sensitivity yourself, allowing you to achieve greater depth. Discrimination is also adjustable. With discrimination, you can easily exclude unwanted objects from the search.
Waterproof search coil
The Ace 150 has a waterproof search coil; only the display is not waterproof. You can therefore use the detector in shallow water as long as the display does not get wet. Even in a rain shower, you should protect the display with an electronics cover.
Response speed
This metal detector is particularly distinguished by its depth range and fast response speed. The latter is especially important when several objects are lying directly next to one another. Many metal detectors give you only one signal. With the Ace 150, you will notice that both the sound and the display indicate when there are multiple objects.
