What advantages does the Fisher F75 LTD offer compared with the standard F75?
The F75 Limited (LTD) is the improved version of the F75, equipped with a more powerful microprocessor and two new search modes: "Boost" mode and "Cache Locating" mode. Boost mode achieves greater detection depth for all metal objects in most soil conditions, while Cache Locating mode detects large metal objects even deeper than before. Both programs offer users significantly greater performance potential and more flexible options for use.
Does the Fisher F75 LTD offer numerical and audio-tone target identification?
The F75 metal detector features numerical target identification (1–99). As soon as the metal detector detects an object, a number appears in the center of the display. This allows you to learn to identify objects. In addition, the F75 has 4 different tones for target identification. The metal detector then emits different tones for different types of metal. For example, a high tone for objects with high electrical conductivity (e.g., silver), a low tone for objects with very low conductivity (iron), and a medium tone for objects with conductivity between these levels (e.g., most gold objects).
Can you adjust discrimination, sensitivity, and the threshold on the Fisher F75 LTD?
The F75 LTD offers excellent metal discrimination (the ability to identify and exclude unwanted iron objects such as nails and bottle caps from the search). You can also adjust the sensitivity (depth) to achieve maximum performance depending on ground conditions. With the threshold function in All-Metal mode, you will not miss even the smallest objects.
Is the Fisher F75 LTD search coil waterproof?
The Fisher F75 LTD detector has a waterproof search coil; only the control unit is not waterproof. You can therefore use the F75 in shallow water as long as the display does not get wet. Even in a rain shower, you should protect the control unit, for example with a screen protector.
What is the recovery speed of the Fisher F75 LTD?
This metal detector is particularly distinguished by its detection depth and high recovery speed (detection speed). The latter is especially important when several objects are lying directly next to one another. Most metal detectors give you only one signal. You will notice that the F75 allows you to hear and see multiple objects.
Does the Fisher F75 LTD have a pinpoint function and ground balance?
The F75 also has a pinpoint function, which you can activate using a convenient trigger button. This function allows you to determine the position of the object more accurately and read the object's depth in inches on the display. If you press the trigger button forward, you can also easily perform an automatic ground balance by pumping the coil. You can also adjust the ground balance manually according to your preferences.
Can you adjust the volume and display backlight on the Fisher F75 LTD?
The F75 LTD offers volume control and display backlighting to make operation easier under different conditions.
Battery Operation & Runtime – Fisher F75
The Fisher F75 metal detector is powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries, providing a stable and reliable power supply during use.
With high-quality alkaline batteries, the F75 achieves an average runtime of approximately 25 to 40 hours, depending on the settings and conditions of use.
Quick note: Please make sure that alkaline batteries are always used.
