The F75 Limited (LTD) is the improved version of the F75, equipped with a more powerful microprocessor and two new search modes: the "Boost" mode and the "Cache Locating" mode. The Boost mode achieves greater detection depth for all metal objects in most soil conditions, and the Cache-Locating mode detects large metal objects even deeper than before. Both programs offer the user significantly higher performance potential and more flexible application possibilities in use.
Does the Fisher F75 LTD have numerical and audio tone object identification?
The F75 metal detector features numerical object identification (1-99). As soon as the metal detector detects an object, a number appears in the middle of the display. This allows you to learn to identify (recognize) objects. In addition, the F75 has 4 different tones for object identification. The metal detector then emits different tones for different types of metal. For example, a high tone for objects with high electrical conductivity (e.g.) silver, a low tone for objects with very low conductivity (iron), and a medium tone for conductivity values in between (e.g., most gold objects).
Can you adjust the discrimination, sensitivity, and threshold on the Fisher F75 LTD?
The F75 LTD features excellent metal discrimination (ability to identify and exclude unwanted iron objects such as nails and bottle caps from the search). You can also adjust the sensitivity (depth) to achieve maximum performance depending on the soil conditions. With the threshold function in the all-metal program, even the smallest objects will not escape you.
Is the search coil of the Fisher F75 LTD waterproof?
The Fisher F75 LTD detector has a waterproof search coil, but only the control unit is not waterproof. You can therefore use the F75 in shallow water as long as the display does not get wet. Even in a rain shower, you should protect the control unit with a display protector, for example.
