What is Kapaan?
Kapaan is a German manufacturer of high-quality products for treasure hunters and outdoor adventurers. The company was founded in 2020 by three sisters: Karin, Patty, and Anouk (Ka-Pa-An). Other manufacturers of metal detectors in Europe noticed a lack of high-quality accessories on the market.
Due to high demand for ergonomic items such as weight distribution systems, lightweight and warm rubber boots, special finds bags, multi-functional vests, and items for cleaning and storage, they decided to develop these products themselves.
While the focus during development was on the metal detecting hobby, the products are also perfectly suited for other outdoor activities and sports. Anglers and magnet fishermen, mountaineers, hikers, hunters, and even archaeologists and coin collectors will find useful Kapaan products here.
It was particularly important that the products, despite their excellent quality, remained affordable. This means Kapaan products are available at a good price from our retailers throughout Europe.

Kapaan EVA Thermal Lightweight Boots
Boots have never been as light as these Kapaan EVA boots! They feature a warm thermal felt lining that protects feet from cold at temperatures down to -30°C. Ideal for autumn and cold winter. The lining is sock-shaped and easily removable and washable. Without the lining, the boots are also ideal for summer and spring.

This Kapaan vest is an ergonomic weight distribution system for your metal detector, providing support around your waist with a wide belt where you can attach your pinpointer and/or knife holster. The ergonomic weight distribution system connects you to your detector via a bungee cord, and you will barely feel the weight of your detector. Ideal for anyone who experiences back, shoulder, or arm discomfort while metal detecting, or for whom their detector is simply too heavy.

The Kapaan finds bag is equipped with a mesh, so water and sand do not remain in the finds bag, keeping it super lightweight. Also ideal for use on the beach! Finds bags, both for land and underwater use, often constantly shift, which can be a major irritation. Especially in the water, when digging with a scoop, causing the finds bag to move back and forth. The Kapaan finds bag offers a solution for this too. Since the finds bag has the shape of a harness, it fits snugly against your chest, and the bag stays in place during the search and does not move forward when detecting.
Kapaan Anywhere Finds Bag for Land and Underwater
This finds bag is designed for detecting in water or on land with a metal detector and features mesh at the top and bottom that automatically drains water and sand from the finds bag. Additionally, this bag has two larger zippered compartments to immediately separate your valuable items from trash. On the front, there is another small external zippered pocket where you can store your best finds or your coin pad. In the middle compartment, there is another carabiner for attaching a Kapaan finds brush, wallet, or keychain.
The Kapaan Kapouch Finds Bag has a large compartment that you can close with 2 snap buttons. You can wear the bag open for quick access, or half-close it with one of the two snap buttons, or fully close it if you are finished searching. Inside the large compartment, there are 4 slip pockets where you can store your accessories and finds in an organized manner. One slip pocket is large enough for a digging knife holster, so you can also carry your digging knife. On the front of the bag, there are two more compartments, including an open compartment and a zippered compartment.
This finds bag has an adjustable strap, so you can wear it around your waist or as a shoulder bag. The Kapaan finds bag features a large front pocket with a small inner pocket; both compartments are zippered. A "must-have" for every detectorist.

The shoulder strap is fully detachable, allowing you to transform the bag into a practical storage box that you can easily store in your wardrobe at home. Also ideal for storage/transport in the car.
Kapaan Big Camo Metal Detector Carry Bag
The Kapaan BIG Camo measures 130 x 40 x 10 cm, making it large enough to transport or store your entire metal detector and its associated equipment. Thanks to the full interior lining, everything is optimally protected against drops and impacts. In the rear compartment, you can carry your complete shovel and secure it with 2 fastening straps. The middle large compartment is perfect for transporting your entire metal detector, and 7 fastening straps on three sides ensure it always stays in place.
Kapaan Metal Detector Carry Bag Barrel
Do you want a metal detector carry bag that fits your metal detector easily and without disassembly? Then this spacious barrel bag from Kapaan is just what you need. Simply slide in the lower part, place the metal detector in the bag, and close the zipper. This way, all metal detectors from our range fit easily into this 127 cm long carry bag. Due to its barrel shape (29 cm diameter), the bag is large enough for a round search coil of up to 28 cm. If the search coil is larger, the detector will fit with the search coil angled.

A custom-fit display cover protects the electronics of your Simplex+, The Legend, Equinox, Manticore, Garrett metal detectors from dust and dirt.
This prevents damage to the display or buttons when operating with dirty hands or gloves. An easy-to-clean, transparent plastic allows for clear viewing and operation of the screen. Simply slide the cover over the top of the control box, and the elastic band on the back holds it securely in place.
Kapaan Storage Box for Coins and Rings
This practical storage box from Kapaan offers you the possibility to compactly and conveniently store or transport a total of 120 rings and/or coins. Ideal for taking to friends, family, search and identification days where you can proudly show your finds to others or have them identified by experts. This box is compact and therefore easy to transport or store. You open the box with a zipper, and in the storage path with 120 compartments, you can store all your coins and rings in an organized and clear manner.
Simply moisten the inner pad with water, then place the found coins into the 11 slots one by one. Depending on the diameter, up to 30 coins can fit in the coin pad. The moisture protects the patina from drying out and damage, thus optimally storing it before further preservation. There is a 4.5 cm measuring scale on the Kapaan sticker, so you can also measure all coins immediately.
Kapaan Multi-functional Finds Brush
The ideal field tool for every detectorist that allows you to clean and identify your finds directly! The multi-functional Kapaan finds brush is a must-have for every detectorist! You can easily attach this identification tool with the carabiner hook to your search bag, trousers, holster, or belt. This way, you always have it nearby and cannot lose it in the field. The pull cord (lanyard) can be extended up to 55 cm.
Kapaan Universal Holster for Pinpointer or Digging Knife
You don't need to remove your belt to attach this holster. Simply open the button and the Velcro closure on the back of the holster and simply tuck it between your belt and trousers. Then close the button again, and the Velcro ensures that there is no play between the holster and the belt. The holster also has a ring where you can hang an anti-loss cord or the Kapaan finds brush.
