You want to rent a metal detector to find a lost item or just try it out? You can easily rent a Garrett ACE 200i metal detector from us.
Ideal for beginners and occasional users.
Important: We do not ship rental equipment. Pick-up and return are only possible at the store during opening hours.

How the rental works:
- Stop by our store during business hours
- Optionally receive an introduction to the device
- Leave a €100 deposit
- Use the detector and then return it to the store

How we calculate rent:
- The day of pickup counts as one day, the day of return does not.
- Pickup and return only at the store during opening hours.
- Weekend: Since we are closed on weekends, the weekend counts as only 1 rental day (return on Monday).

Frequent Questions About Metal Detector Rental
Which metal detector can I rent?
For inexperienced searchers, we usually lend the Garrett ACE 200i, an easy-to-understand entry-level device. If you already have experience or prefer a different detector, please contact us directly.
When can I pick up and drop off?
Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. No pick-up or drop-off is possible on weekends.
How is the rental period calculated?
The pick-up day counts as 1 rental day and costs €39. Each additional rental day costs an extra €20. The return day is not charged.
How does weekend rental work?
Since we are closed on Saturdays & Sundays, they only count as 1 rental day. Example: Pick up on Friday, return on Monday = 39 € + 20 € = 59 €.
Can I rent the detector by mail?
No. Pickup and drop-off only at our store in East Frisia.
How much is the deposit?
€100 deposit on collection (refunded upon return).
Can I rent multiple devices (e.g., for birthdays or events)?
Yes, but please inquire about special cases in advance.
Do I need a reservation?
Prior contact is recommended to clarify any open questions and to ensure that someone at our end is informed.

There are various volunteer search services that search for lost items for a small fee, in order to do good deeds. Experienced searchers are referred throughout Europe to help.
